Hi. I’m John Carey, Jr. I’ve lived in Fresno and been around the real estate business all of my life. I love the outdoors, music – especially the local music scene – and hanging out with a group of friends I’ve known since grade school. After graduating high school from Bullard in 1983, I went to work as a painter for my Uncle Marvin Carey. However, my Dad and a former business partner encouraged me to consider selling real estate. I obtained my Real Estate license in 1996 and went to work for Century 21 C. Watson. I received my broker’s license in 2009. I believe firmly that I’ve found my life’s calling. Everything I know I learned from my Dad who I believe has the best reputation in the business. I’m happy to say I’ve won several Century 21 Centurion awards given annually to the highest producers in the Century 21 system.
As my Dad approached a time in his professional career where he was ready to turn over some of the day to day duties of the business to me, I’ve also discovered new avenues in the business that I enjoy tremendously. They include introducing new associates to real estate and helping them launch their careers, and growing our brokerage through the marvelous marketing tools available through the Century 21 brand.
The future of our business is bright. People will always need and want to buy and sell property. I feel honored to assist buyers and sellers—and our associates—as we continue our pursuit of the American Dream of home ownership and the exercise of private property rights
